CIMA activities include:
♦ Co-operation with the utility power sector (CCPs);
♦ Collaboration with universities, research and development centres, central and local government agencies in the area of optimising the management of anthropogenic minerals;
♦ Providing substantive support for standardisation as well as national and the European regulations affecting management of anthropogenic minerals, particularly for ministries of environment and economy;
♦ Initiation and implementation of research and development projects in the area of anthropogenic minerals, including the projects covered by the 2014–2020 EU Financial Perspective;
♦ Creating and operating information base on anthropogenic minerals in Poland and processing technologies connected with products demanded in the economy;
♦ Organising Seminars, Conferences and Training Courses on anthropogenic minerals and their engineering.
